According to Live Science, a fossil of a duck-billed dinosaur with traces of skin and soft tissue has been found in Alberta, Canada, by scientists.

The skeleton of the example is practically finished and was accounted for on September 6 by Academic partner Brian J. Pickles at the College of Perusing (UK), who said he was “totally shocked” when he saw this fossil while investigating with understudies.

Mr. Pickles stated, “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

The dinosaur fossils referenced here are around 4 meters in length, dating from around a long time back when the Earth was going through the Cretaceous period. Many dinosaur fossils are thought to be concentrated in the region where the specimen was discovered by scientists. According to the report, between 400 and 500 skulls or skeletons have been discovered here.

According to Professor Pickles, this fossil’s well-preserved condition can be attributed to its covering of mud and sandstone.

I believe that the specimen was covered fairly quickly. The expert explained, “If not, it cannot be preserved so well.” You can see the vertebrae and ligaments. The tendons as well as the vertebrate are visible as you get closer. Something very unique exists here: It’s uncommon to see something like that.

This specimen could be twice as big as an adult dinosaur. As a result, the specimen may be a young or small animal, according to scientists.

The duck-billed dinosaur’s appearance and anatomy are better understood thanks to this discovery, as is the evolution of dinosaurs. Further investigation of this fossil will probably uncover more bits of knowledge into the antiquated world and the variety of dinosaur species.
