During a stroll, Dog spots her twin and begs her mother to adopt him.

Bethany Coleman and her boyfriend, along with their two older cats and a rescue dog named Rogue, were already a full house. They had the desire to bring another dog into their lives, but were hesitant about it.

As they contemplated renting an apartment, thinking it would be challenging to find a place that would accept two humans, two cats, and two dogs, fate had other plans for them. One day, as Coleman and Rogue were casually strolling through the local farmer’s market, something caught their eye.

It wasn’t the fresh produce that drew Bethany’s attention; it was a dog that bore a striking resemblance to Rogue. At that moment, they knew it was meant to be. They welcomed the 8-month-old dog into their family and named him Beast.

Coleman shared, “Rogue and I felt love at first sight with him. He looked just like Rogue, the same size (at the time), the same coat… They’re both cairn [terrier] hybrids. We’re frequently asked if they’re brothers and sisters.”

Even though Beast was the only dog in the family, Rogue immediately embraced him as if he were his long-lost twin. They had an undeniable connection.

“At first, we’d purchase Beast and Rogue the same identical toys, but she’d only want whatever Beast had and would constantly grab it from him,” Coleman laughed.

Beast quickly became known as the family’s cuddlebug, competing with the cats for lap space and showering them with affection.

Today, they all reside in Hawaii, and their bond is unbreakable. Coleman expressed, “Our cross-country journey confirmed that this tiny family will always be together.”
