The dog rescue shelter in Mladepovac, Serbia, received a call about a mom dog and two puppies who had been abandoned outside and were lying on the side of the road for a few days.

The good Samaritans tried to feed them, but the mother dog was very protective of her puppies and would not allow anyone to touch them.

When rescuers arrived, she was hiding in the grass next to the road with her children, trying to protect them while waiting for their owners to come for her.

But sadly, they never would.

She was fortunately aware that the rescuers were coming to help her, so she was pleased and eager to eat whatever food was served to her.

They returned to the lawn one last time after loading mommy dog ​​and her two puppies into their car to make sure there were any extra puppies left.

They were surprised to discover another person open on the grass a few meters from the mother. The puppies were only a few days old and had not yet opened their eyes.

Fortunately, they were saved just in time, and the four were brought back to their rescue.

Moli, the mother, has been an excellent mother to her puppies. She is content and happy to be excellent and to be sleeping in a warm bed instead of lying on the side of the road.

The shelter will care for the little family until they are ready to be adopted.
