The rescue by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department from the car’s sunroof revealed a distressed and saliva-drenched dog struggling to breathe. Her owner, Raul Carbajal, was apprehended for deliberate and cruel mistreatment of an animal.

However, Duchess’s story took a positive turn. The Animal Foundation, a Las Vegas-based charity, announced her adoption mere weeks after her rescue. Duchess found a loving family, relishing life alongside her new fur siblings and enjoying cozy moments sneaking into the children’s beds.
