William Leonard Roberts II, professionally known as Rick Ross, is an American rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and record executive. His body is covered in various tattoos, with his favorite ones being those that hold personal significance. Rick uses his tattoos as “timekeepers” to immortalize the best events of his life. His debut album, Port of Miami, was released in August 2006 and debuted at the top of the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 187,000 units in its first week.

Rick Ross has stated, “My memory isn’t the best, but when I look at a tattoo, I remember where I was in my life, so for me it’s almost like a timekeeper. All of my tattoos represent the things I love, admire, stand for, would die for, and make me happy.”

He admits to having no major regrets about his tattoos, though he humorously recalls instances where his tattoo artist may have been under the influence, resulting in some questionable artwork. Despite this, he values the memories each tattoo holds.

Tattoo: Near his collar bones Rick has a tattoo that says, ‘Carol City Cartel’.

Meaning: Carol City Cartel or The Triple C is an American hip hop group founded by Rick Ross in 2005.  Its other members are Gunplay from Miami, Torch from the Bronx, New York, and Young Breed.

2. ‘100 MILLION’ Tattoo

Tattoo: On the left side of Rick’s stomach there is the tattoo which says, ‘100 MILLION’.

Meaning: “100 Million” is the name of the second single from Birdman’s third studio album, 5 * Stunna. The track included Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, and Lil Wayne. Meaning: Cross tattoo tells us about Rick’s religious beliefs, however, the three crosses are used to symbolize two things either, it can represent the three aspects of God in the Christian faith i.e. the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
