Rick Ross gave his 16 years old son full ownership of the fast-food restaurant on his birthday.

You can learn how to be “The Boss” from Rick Ross, and it looks like his son just signed up for a class.

Ross made his bigger son’s 16th birthday extra special on Tuesday, September 14, by giving him his own Wingstop franchise. Wingstop is a restaurant that serves chicken wings, and Rick Ross not only promotes it on social media, he also owns it. Wingsider, Wingstop’s blog, says that Ross owned about 28 Wingstops as of June.

The “Aston Martin Music” singer posted on Instagram that his son William Roberts III had bought a Wingstop, just like him. He showed a picture of William eating a wing in a chair while two bags and a drink from Wingstop were lying on the floor. He wrote, “May my son @mmgbigbank have a great day.” AWESOME 16TH BIRTHDAY!!! He bought his first @wingstop business today. You are now a REAL BOSS!!! Do not stop.

The son of the former jail guard now owns a restaurant and plays football at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. William doesn’t post that much on social media, but it looks like he wants to keep playing football after high school. On his first post, which was on January 20, the sophomore offensive lineman said that the University of Miami had made him an offer.

At the same time that Williams’s age changes, Wingstop’s service changes. Charlie Morrison, CEO and chairman of Wingstop said in June of this year that the company has added chicken legs to their virtual menu because chicken wings are getting more expensive.

Because restaurants had to close during the pandemic, the demand for chicken wings went through the roof, which drove up the price. He told them, “A year ago, wings were as cheap as 98 cents for wholesale.” It’s $3.22 now. So the difference is important.” Even though the price of the legs is much better, the trick is to get customers who love wings to order them. She told Morison, “There’s not a big market for it.” His words are that thighs “don’t get the appreciation they deserve.” Right now, Thighstop is an online-only brand, which means that you can only order them on their website or through Doordash.

There are four kids in Ross’s family: Toie Roberts, William Roberts III, Berkeley Hermes Roberts, and Billion Leonard Roberts.
