For certain stray dogs, life on the streets can be extremely distressing, leading to a deep-seated inability to trust.
In the presence of others, fear and timidity take over, preventing these dogs from trusting that they won’t be harmed. It’s disheartening, as no animal should ever experience feelings of being unloved or neglected.
Fortunately, there are compassionate groups dedicated to rescuing lost and abandoned animals in need of love and care.
Amber, a small dog, had truly faced an unexpected turn in life. Distraught and abandoned after her owner’s death, Amber endured months of solitude in the vacant house. Understandably, this experience left her with significant trust issues when the Howl Of A Dog rescue team arrived to assist her.
The rescue mission was initiated when someone noticed Amber living in the yard of the abandoned house. However, Amber’s extreme timidity made it challenging to approach her. Undeterred, the Howl Of A Dog rescuers were determined to save her.
It took some time, but they eventually succeeded in coaxing the 3-year-old pup into the house, where she was safely captured.
When they found Amber, she was in a sorry state. Ticks infested her fur, and she was suffering from an illness known as Babesiosis. Luckily, Amber found herself in caring hands, receiving the medical attention she desperately needed.
