The upcoming 2025 Superman reboot by James Gunn is set to give fans a new cinematic take on the Man of Steel, but it will also feature several other DC characters. These include characters associated with Wildstorm’s The Authority, as well as the Justice League and the Justice Society.
What are your thoughts on the costumes so far for ‘SUPERMAN’???
1. Mr Terrific
In Cw:
Curtis had been owning some of the old suit’s equipment for some time as they started off as his ordinary clothing which he bought some years prior due to being a big fan of Terry Sloane.[1]
The suit consists of Curtis’s favourite black Fairplay jacket, black pants and black boots. To hide his identity he has his hair styled back in what appears braids and relies on a Black mask which is held onto his face in unknown ways, the mask seems to be in the shape of a ‘T’, it is also presumably also a logo since his code name is Mr. Terrific. Curtis admitted that the mask felt a bit weird on his face. The suit also possesses a pair of black leather gloves but he did not wear them on his first mission
In James Gunn’s Superman:
The upcoming 2025 Superman movie reboot might be based around the Man of Steel, but he’s far from the only DC character in the film. One of his fellow heroes in the movie is Mr. Terrific, aka Michael Holt. Played by Edi Gathegi, the Justice Society chairman has a history of legacy and fair play in the comic books.
Though he’s had appearances outside the comics before, the first movie in the new DC Universe will be Mr. Terrific’s big break on the big screen. By introducing him, it’s obvious that the film and shared universe will be drawing from a variety of sources. Likewise, some will be unfamiliar with the important but overlooked character, making Mr. Terrific’s appearance in Superman the first time that some audiences will learn anything about him.
2. Hawkgirl
In Cw:
With Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl set to be one of the primary characters of CW’s, Legends of Tomorrow, it’s a perfect time to go over her rather unique, yet complex comic book history.
In James Gunn’s Superman:
Superman writer-director and DC Studios co-head James Gunn recently revealed Hawkgirl’s identity. The filmmaker also celebrated Hawkgirl’s anniversary.
3. Superman
In CW:
Tyler Hoechlin as Superman in the suit for Superman & Lois
In James Gunn’s Superman:
David Corenswet’s first look as Superman, the Last Son of Krypton, has gone viral on social media. Several pictures from Superman’s first look found their way on social media.
