Exploring the Mysterious Bison Sculptures at Tuc d’Audoubert

The Tuc d’Audoubert cave is situated in the cooperative of Montesquieu-Avantes in southwest France.

The cavern was found by the three high school siblings in 1912.

The cavern craftsmanship most likely dates to roughly 14,000 BC.

It contains two unbelievably displayed buffalo, which were etched in dirt with a stone spatula-like device and the craftsman’s fingers.

The artist’s handprints and the tools used to draw the face and mane’s details are still clearly visible.

One of the largest and finest surviving prehistoric sculptures is the pair.

The buffalo reliefs are two feet long, eighteen crawls in level and around 3-4 inches down.

The two buffalo are upheld by a focal stone and are inconceivably very much saved in spite of the fact that they have experienced some drying out, which has made a few breaks show up across their bodies.
