Meet Zeke, an adorable little puppy with a heartwarming smile, despite the challenges life has thrown his way. Residing at The NOAH Center in Stanwood, Washington, Zeke has captured the hearts of everyone who crosses his path with his distinctive, crooked grin.
Described as endearing by Katrina Wedin, the dog care coordinator at The NOAH Center, Zeke is a kind and sociable youngster who thrives on human connection. His magnetic personality has earned him a devoted following among shelter workers and volunteers. Zeke’s goal is simple: to be as close to you as possible. Upon entering his shelter space, he eagerly positions himself, ready to snuggle up on your lap.
Zeke, who arrived at the shelter at seven months old in January, was diagnosed with a congenital abnormality causing his charming crooked smile. Despite a minor dental surgery recommendation for correction, Zeke’s day-to-day activities remain unaffected, and he approaches life with boundless enthusiasm.
Initially adopted, Zeke faced the unfortunate circumstance of returning to the shelter when his family encountered hardship. Now, with an eagerness to find a permanent home once more, Zeke’s infectious charm is on display, and the shelter staff is hopeful that someone will be captivated by his endearing qualities.
Catherine, a caregiver at the shelter, attests to Zeke’s irresistible charm: “He has a face that makes everyone fall in love with him and is such a great, charming, and silly gentleman.”
Zeke’s adoption journey is unique, given the potential need for future surgery to address his congenital deformity. Currently under the attentive care of shelter volunteers, Zeke patiently awaits the perfect family to provide the love and care he longs for.
While Zeke continues to be the darling of his keepers, he dreams of a permanent home where his endearing, crooked smile will continue to win hearts. Despite the uncertainties ahead, Zeke’s resilience and charm shine through, creating hope for a bright and loving future.
