Christmas is almost here, and the Mahomes family appears to be experiencing a mixed holiday season this year. Patrick Mahomes is unable to spend the holiday with his family, so there was one less member at the dining table. It was already a bad thing but now it appears that the quarterback’s mother, Randi Mahomes, is not in a good mood. But what exactly happened?
Well, looking at Mama Mahomes’ recent Instagram activity, it seems she is going through a difficult time. Everyone knows she’s been taking care of her father, whose health has been a major issue in recent months. And while the most recent word on his father’s health was positive, Patrick Mahomes’ mother seemed to be exhausted from all of the caregiving. She reposted an emotional post on her IG story which read, “Someone once said, ‘You like taking care of people because it heals the part of you that needed someone to take care of you.’ I really felt that”
While all these things are happening, Patrick Mahomes is preoccupied with a variety of tasks, including games, health worries, playoff considerations, and so on. As a result of all of this, the man will undoubtedly miss Christmas and maybe New Year’s celebrations with his family as well. Maybe the quarterback will make up with his family when he has time. But as of today, a pre-holiday celebration has already begun at his home.
While Patrick Mahomes’ mother is likewise stressed this holiday season. The QB’s own house appears to be getting festively prepped for Christmas. The QB’s wife recently revealed that the kids are leaping around the house in their red clothing. And how delighted they are to get a lot of gifts this holiday season. Brittany also reposted IG stories of some of her friends, to whom she presented many gifts on Christmas Eve.
While Brittany is doing all of this and making the house beautiful, Patrick Mahomes is preparing for the game against the Steelers. The quarterback has almost recovered from his mild high ankle injury and will be getting ready for the playoffs. Although the Chiefs concluded with a strong AFC record, the last two games should serve as the team’s best practice.
And the Steelers are the ideal opponent for carrying out these strategies. They have a formidable defense that Patrick Mahomes will try to crack. Furthermore, the fact that the game takes place on Christmas Eve adds to its appeal. Let us know what you think about the game. And who do you believe will win?
