A meditation loft is included in her tiny house.

While Nilamani had dreams of tiny living, before the events of 2020 she was enjoying “normal” life in her home with an Airbnb on her property. But she lost her job and had to shut down the accommodation. She decided to sell the house and had a local tiny house builder create an incredible home that met all her needs.

She rents a lovely plot of land in New Zealand, where she enjoys meals out on her large covered porch and relaxes with yoga in her secondary loft. With the spacious design, she was able to keep much of her eclectic furniture and decor! Her unique sense of style really makes this house a home.

Highlights:
Nilamani lost a job and was hit hard by the events of 2020, but it acted as a catalyst to allow her to pursue her tiny house dreams.
She chose a professional builder to bring her dreams to life in her 33×10 tiny house.
Despite the tiny size, she has full standing height in the catwalk and her loft bedroom.
She was adamant that her design separated the kitchen from the bathroom, and that the toilet was in its own separate space.
A large covered porch maximizes her living space, and it was one of the features of her old, “big home” that she wanted in her tiny one.
