Beyoncé’s 1959 vintage Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce II Drophead is rare, sentimental and seriously stylish.
A present from Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z on her 25th birthday – it’s the car from her fleet she’s photographed with the most.
The vintage Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce II cost $1 million.
The talented couple with a staggering net worth already own an impressive fleet of cars.
They also own the iconic and nautical Rolls-Royce Boat Tail – one of the most expensive cars in the world.
Other celebrity fans of the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud include Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury.
Aside from it being rare and stunning, the sentimental gift came delivered with the sign “reserved for Mrs. Carter” on the front seat.
However, pictured frequently behind the wheel amidst its sky-blue interior and wide leather seats – she seems to enjoy driving it.
And what’s not to love? Boasting a 6.2-liter engine and the ability to go from 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in 10.9 seconds – it packs a smooth, yet powerful punch on the road.
From the outside, the navy blue convertible top and white wall tires turn heads as much as Queen B herself.
The vintage Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce was the core model of the British brand from 1955-1966.
It drove onto the scene after the Silver Dawn, featuring Rolls’ first-ever factory-built body that was shared with the Bentley Mark VI.
The vintage Silver Cloud Rolls-Royce II Drophead was first shown at the Paris Salon at the end of 1962.
After its era drew to a close, it was replaced by the Silver Shadow in 1965.
The external dimensions of the 2.0 were slightly changed and weight reduced by 220 lbs after its début.
Under the hood, the engine included the addition of SU carburettors, plus the compression ratio was increased.
What’s more, the engine contained a hardened crankshaft to deal with the extra power in the engine.
That was also done to fix reports of broken crankshafts in the earlier Silver Cloud models.
It’s said to be one of the most sought after vintage vehicles in existence, and Jay Z’s Maybach Exelero is also pretty unique.
