It looks like the entire car world is mainly focusing on the Tesla Cybertruck these days, and with the GTA 6 trailer also out, there’s not much room for any other trending pieces.
However, we think we have found the right antidote: the 2025 Nissan Titan. Well, it’s not exactly real, and by that, we mean that it is totally fake, sending CGI vibes. Yet more on that in a few moments, as first we have to remind ourselves that the real thing is an aging product judging by today’s fast-moving industry.
It recently blew eight candles off its birthday cake, with the production of the second generation kicking off towards the end of 2015. It received a refresh for 2020, during which the Japanese automaker took care of the visuals and other aspects and dropped the regular cab models. Thus, it’s only available as a crew cab and king cab, with the latter being limited to the entry-level SV trim.
Speaking of the grades, the 2024 Nissan Titan comes in the SV, complete with the Bronze and Midnight Editions, PRO-4X, and Platinum Reserve. The most affordable versions are two-wheel drive, with the four-wheel drive system being optionally available, and pricing starts at $45,770, excluding the $1,895 destination and handling charge. Choose the range-topping flavor and see the MSRP climb to $62,750.
Nissan’s 2024 Titan has been on sale at dealers nationwide for a few months now, and it packs a 5.6-liter V8 engine. Working in conjunction with a nine-speed automatic transmission, the mill is good for 400 horsepower (406 ps/298 kW) and 413 pound-feet (560 Nm) of torque.
On a sadder note, if you’re into these kinds of rides, Nissan has confirmed that the Titan will be dropped after the 2024 model year. There will be no job losses at the Canton factory in Mississippi because of its demise, as the company will transform it into an EV manufacturing hub, with all brand-new electric vehicles set to be made there.
You’d better hurry up and snatch one if you want a brand-new Titan in your life, as it won’t be replaced. Nonetheless, its successor lives on in Fantasy Land, with renderings of it being shared on YouTube a few days ago by AutmagzTV. It is a staggering proposal that looks like a military truck from the near future, boasting many muscly design traits and looking nothing like the real thing.
It features a more upright grille, LED lighting, a vented hood, muscular fenders, and fat tires wrapped around the concave wheels. In essence, the hypothetical 2025 Nissan Titan is an overlander ready to take on some arduous tracks, and it is a pity that it doesn’t exist in the real world.
