A multi-tycoon’s previous driver blamed for allowing a companion to take his manager’s £380,000 Ferrari for a twist and crashing it is confronting a ‘David versus Goliath’ fight in court.
The High Court heard that Allen Sicurella worked for mogul Richard Hanson for a long time until the pair dropped out when Mr Hanson blamed him for allowing a companion to drive and crash his interesting Ferrari.
The case was set out at the court in London, which heard that Mr Sicurella’s companion Raymond Zarb was blamed for crashing the £380,000 Ferrari 458 Speciale in Hampshire in 2019.
Confidential value boss Mr Hanson – who is worth £90million and whose child Philip is an effective dashing driver – terminated his escort, then, at that point, pulled him and Mr Zarb to court looking for remuneration for the £290,000 harm he guaranteed was finished to his vehicle.
The case against Mr Zarb was ‘settled at a beginning phase’, yet the case against the Mr Sicurella could wind up costing the escort a ‘devastating’ £478,000 in punitive fees and legal counselors’ bills, the court heard.
Mr Sicurella straight denies allowing his companion to drive the Ferrari and says the way that Mr Zarb’s accident wounds were mostly on the left half of his face upholds his case.
